[Almost Halfway]

Can you believe it? We are almost halfway done with this semester and it feels like it just barely started. Where has the time gone?? Fortunately enough, it has been a great semester so far. I can't wait to see what the rest brings!

Our latest rush event (on Monday) was our annual bowling rush, and it went incredibly well. I remember vividly that I was not able to go to the bowling rush two years ago when I was a rushee, and I was super bummed. Now that I am an active brother, I always try my best to be at this rush event because it is so fun and I don't want to miss out on it ever again. This time I didn't bowl, but it was a blast watching everyone have so much fun. I did, however, spend some time playing DDR with Adrianna. If you know how I feel about DDR, you know how much I love doing it. I wish I had more time to go and play, especially because it is such a great workout!

As the midterm is now on the horizon, I can't help but express my excitement for the rest of the rush process. I have had such a great time getting to know the rushees, and I am constantly reminded of why this fraternity means so much to me through my interactions with them. I get speechless every time I think about it :)

Until our next post... AEA.

Deeee - Laney! And a Cougar Win!!

Hello Brothers!

My name is Delaney Marth and I am a sophomore music education major. I crossed into the Beta Sigma Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi in Spring 2012.

Wow! I can not believe how fast school is flying by! We are already on week 6 of school! CRAZY! So many exciting things are in store for the Beta Sigma Chapter, the Spirit of Houston Marching Band, and the University of Houston as a whole! Beta Sigma has been keeping busy with rush events, tons of service, and several other things!

Last Saturday, the University of Houston Cougar football team played the Rice Owls at Reliant Stadium...and let's just say we owned that Bayou Bucket! It was such an awesome experience to be able to play in that stadium again and see others excited to play in that stadium for the first time ever!

Through all the busy schedules that we have going, I know that my brothers are always striving for the highest in all that they are doing; from school, marching band, and service. It is always a good feeling to see my Brothers doing well!

Tomorrow, we are playing UNT and not only is it just a cougar football game, but we are also having a service rush event! Service rush events always bring  joy to me to see everyone come together and serve our band. I hope we can come out with another win as well!

Well, hope that you keep up with what is going on with the Beta Sigma Chapter! Thanks for reading.

AEA forever,

Brother Delaney Marth
